It zoomed to popularity, topping 100 million players a little over a year from its release and becoming one of the most played games on the planet. On March 10, 2020, Activision officially released “Warzone,” Call of Duty’s free-to-play, cross-platform battle royale that featured a whopping 150 players all competing to be the last standing.
